Kindred Spirits Quilt

I made this quilt for my great niece, Quinn.  The fabric panel is called Kindred Spirits: Anne of Green Gables based on the book "Anne of Green Gables".  I also made a matching pillowcase.  The quilt top is a fabric panel that looks like it was pieced together.  The back fabric is Anne of Green Gables farmhouse and trees, etc. on a pink background. 

I quilted it using stitch in the ditch method and free motion quilting: meandering in the center area and various designs in the outer block areas.  This was made in March of 2021. 

A Quilt for Charlotte

I made this crib-sized quilt for a new great niece, Charlotte 

who is due to arrive around March 2, 2016.

It is made from a fabric panel called "Whoo Me?" that I ordered from Fabric.com

The borders around the panel were cut from a coordinating border print fabric.

I also made a pillow case from the border print fabric for a travel-size pillow.

The quilt binding was made from this fabric.

The back of the quilt was made from this fabric,

which matches the leaves on the trees (front of quilt).

This is the border print that I used around the panel.

All American Girl

For Emily's birthday:
This is a doll bed made for an American Girl doll. It is made using a Sterlite storage container. The bedding includes a dust ruffle, mattress, fitted sheet, pillow, pillow case, pillow sham and quilted comforter. The fitted sheet fits over the mattress and the top of the storage container. The container can be used to store doll clothes and accessories.  It would also make a good pet bed for the pampered pet.

Large Baby Bibs

I recently made some bibs for a baby shower. 

I found this cute fabric at Hobby Lobby. 

I searched Pinterest for bib patterns, found one that I liked

and made it a little larger.

The fabric on the back is from a new white towel (Walmart).

It should be very absorbent. The bibs are reversible and have Velcro closures.

A Taggie Blanket

I made this taggie blanket for a little girl name "Crimson".

The font used is curlz bold from Jolsons Designs.

Burp Cloth and Onesie Set

I made this set for a beautiful baby girl - Aleeah Jade.

It would be cute for a boy as well (minus the pink lips).

The applique design is from Applique Momma.

Burp Cloths for Save-A-Life

The Ladies Ministry @ Lanett Nazarene Church sponsored

a baby shower for our local Save-A-Life organization.

I made these 3 burp cloths to donate.

An Heirloom Style Dress

I made this heirloom quality dress 

as a shop sample for the Kid's Closet in Auburn.

The bodice has Swiss embroidery & lace insertion

and 3 tiny pintucks on each side.

Here is a closeup of the sleeve with 

Swiss beading, ribbon and lace edging.

This is the hemline with the same Swiss embroidery,

lace insertion, pintucks and lace edging.
