Burp Cloths made from Towels

These burp cloths are made from a towel (terry cloth)
for absorbency and cotton fabric on the top.

The one on the right is made with flannel fabric so
it's extra soft.

All of these are for another great nephew
who was born on October 22nd.

These 2 flannel & terry burp cloths and the 2 below are 'for sale'
and can be seen / purchased at Yate's Printing in Lanett, AL

My First T-shirt Quilt

The 'quilting' process began on July 4th, 2013.
This is the top with 20 t-shirts from Andrea's school days.

This is the back.
I got a deal on some polka dot pillow shams @ .49 cents each.
I took them apart and sewed 9 of them together to make the back.
I also used some of the smaller pieces for the binding.

Here are a couple of the blocks up close.

The completed quilt!

A Quilt for Baby Boy Earl #3

Here's the quilt I made for my great nephew.
The printed squares are from a fabric storybook panel.
I hand quilted the printed squares and machine quilted
in the sashings and borders.

The back of the quilt has the baby's name and birth info
machine embroidered in yellow thread.

I believe he likes it!

Wedding Gifts - Towels

I used the Empire monogram font for all of these towel sets.

I enlarged it to about 4 inches for the bath towels
and reduced it to about 3 inches for the hand towels.

These gray towels were done for Hilary & John
who will be married in December.

The thread colors are black and yellow.

I also embroidered first names on the wash cloths.
(John has one also but it's not in the photo)
