Sewing Seeds Ministry - Make & Take

The 'Sewing Seeds' ministry at Lanett Nazarene Church
met on April 30, 2015 for a 'Make & Take' project.
We each made a 3 piece set of microwave bowl hot pads.
Each set consisted of three sizes - 10", 12" & 14".

This is a completed microwave bowl hot pad in green/purple fabrics.

This shows a completed hot pad in the small (10") size.

This is a small hot pad in the blue/yellow colors.

To use: Place bowl with contents inside of the 'hot pad'.
Put bowl & hot pad in the microwave.  Cook.
Remove without burning your hands!
Warning!....All fabric & batting used must be ALL cotton to prevent burning.

Large Baby Bibs

I recently made some bibs for a baby shower.
I found this cute fabric at Hobby Lobby.
I searched Pinterest for bib patterns, found one that I liked
and made it a little larger.

The fabric on the back is from a new white towel (Walmart).
It should be very absorbent. The bibs are reversible and have Velcro closures.
